Kovu's Story

Kovu is a handsome, charming, lovable hambone, 5 years old, energetic and friendly. His family is no longer able to care for him, so we will find him a new loving home. We do know some things about him, like:
He is house-trained, and likes being outside a lot too. He's been a sweet dog, likes to play and go for walks. He knows sit, lay down, shake, and sorta knows stay. He is fine with other polite dogs and even cats! He plays with another dog here (Copper) and they are good playmates. Sometimes he will want to jump on you, or he will get really excited when playing and tug on your shirt, but he responds well to a stern serious "no" from you. He listens well. Umm,...He is a bit on the chunky side right now, so more exercise and fewer treats would be good. What's not to love?! It will be the lucky family that adopts him.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Call ahead to schedule a meet-and greet! Adoption Fee: $110.00.

The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! Even if you don't have normal, regular access to the base, please DO give us a call and we will work with you
