Kovi's Story

Kovi is a 6-year old, 16 lb male Shih Tzu.

Kovi is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home.

This little ball of fuzz is Kovi. He may be all grown up, but he loves to play and romp around, and is truly enjoying his second chance at life. Kovi had a home, but he was not very well cared for and didn't get to do all the fun things dogs should enjoy, so now that he's in a loving foster home, Kovi is living it up. His nickname is Mr. Personality, since he adores people and loves pets and snuggles. He has been around children and though he likes them, he would do best with older kids since he can play a little rough when he gets excited. This little guy may not have been giving many toys before, but now with a full toy box, he loves to run and toss his toys, or play tug of war with them. He is potty trained and likes the leash, as he has learned that walks mean the chance to meet people! He is kennel trained and is a big fan of soft, cozy bed (another thing he never had before he was rescued). This little guy truly deserves a better home than what he had for his first six years, and would be the most grateful pup if he knew he was loved and cared for by his new family. Kovi arrived with a bad skin irritation but has done very well with a grain free diet so he should remain on this diet. This little guy truly deserves a better home than what he had for his first six years, and would be the most grateful pup if he knew he was loved and cared for by his new family. He has a big personality and would love a chance to share his heart with the right person or family.

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes.
