Meet Kota (Neutered)
Kota is a magnificent 2-1/2 year old male Australian Shepherd mix who was surrendered by his owner on July 13, 2023.
Kota has a stunning red/mahogany-and-white long smooth coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful face with pale blue eyes, a white slender muzzle, and short floppy ears.
These photos of Kota were taken on July 14th when HSOV Lead Canine Kennel Tech Jared Nash accompanied Kota for outdoor photos late in the afternoon. Kota was a bit nervous being in an unfamiliar place when he'd been accustomed to being in his own home, but he did amazingly well with Jared since he quickly gained Kota's trust.
Kota weighs 79 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash for Jared. Kota has already been neutered.
Kota is NOT good with children and is looking for a home where he would not have contact youngsters. Kota also has sensitivity issues about being touched on his head, ears, and feet.
