Kongju Jindo Mix Long Island City, NY

Kongju’s got such soulful eyes, doesn’t she?! She’s a female mini Jindo mix that’s 1 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. We rescued her from the Haman shelter in Korea and she’s made it all the way to NYC for adoption! Once Kongju warms up, she’s known for being affectionate, sweet, calm, and gentle. This girl loves getting pets and belly rubs so be sure to remember that! She’s also a fan of hanging out in her crate, going on peaceful walks, and eating her delicious meals. She’s still working on potty training but she’s already crate trained! Kongju’s still getting the hang of city life and would love to have a patient adopter that can help her gain more confidence outdoors, especially around loud noises. Are you interested in Kongju? Meet our adoptable pups! Come to our in-person & Livestream event on Saturday, May 8th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). This event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs for adoption in person and learn more about them.

Please note: This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be meet the pups in person, learn about each dogs personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from a safe social distance from outside of their playpens. We will answer your questions at our questions booth, and if you are interested in adopting, fill out an adoption application before or after the event!

REQUIRED
In compliance with NYC Covid-19 Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), please show proof of Covid Vax or Negative Covid test within the last 3 days. It is required to meet the dogs upon entry. Our staff and volunteers will also meet the requirements. Masks and social distancing rules will apply.

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
