Hercules Pit Bull Terrier San Diego, CA

Hey friends! I'm Hercules! I recently found my way from the streets into this shelter. ?The wonderful people from the rescue were kind enough to pull me from the shelter and now I spend my days with my lovely foster mom.

Even though I am still learning to be gentle and that I am bigger than I think, I love all humans! But I do prefer the older ones, teenagers and older that is, because I don't realize that I am super strong. I always show when I am excited because I have a cute wiggly butt and I shake it like a Polaroid picture!

I do love going for walks and I am also getting better every time about listening to the human walking with me. After my initial excitement of the walk, I will be right with you! Sometimes I will jump up and I use whatever I can to get your attention, but I am working on that too, because I am a beast and I am being told not all humans like a giant lap dog! I do also tend to be vocal when I'm playing, but I'm just so excited and I want you to know that!

I know how to sit and I know down, I also like getting treats when I do things right! But I prefer if you set the treat on the ground or toss it my way!

When I meet new dogs, I like to learn a LOT about them, so I do need help learning how to meet new dogs properly. Can you help me do that? I love them, but I think because I am big, I kind of scare them a little bit.
