KoKo is a 3 yr old spayed Husky mix that is white with blue eyes (what a beauty). She is 18 inches tall and 33 pounds. She is looking for a loving forever home.

KoKo is very sweet girl with beautiful blue eye, that knows a couple of commands. Sit and lay down. She loves to play with balls and is partial to squeaky toys. She is also very friendly and loves attention. She does not live with other dogs, but has been around the neighbors dog and gets along great, but chases cats. She would not be good around chickens. She would do fine with older children as she jumps up and would knock little ones down. She also likes to go for car rides.

KoKo was found as a stray, and has only been an outside dog. Owner has been bringing her in the house and is helping her with house manners. She also working on house breaking and is good if you watch her and keep her on a schedule. KoKo has not figured out how to let you know she wants out, but she is a smart girl and with consistency, love and patience (maybe even a doggie door) she should do just fine and learn quickly as she would like to be an inside girl and be with her new forever family. She does not like to be crated and she would need a fenced in yard that is taller then 4 ft tall.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
