Kodak's Story

🐾📸 Meet Kodak 📸🐾

Handsome. Loving. Loyal. And searching for his true forever home.

Kodak is an amazing 1-year-old Bulldog mix with a stunning brown/tan coat and a handsome black muzzle that turns heads wherever he goes. He was adopted as a puppy and spent time in a loving home, but due to serious health issues with his previous owner, Kodak was returned through no fault of his own. Now he’s back at the shelter, patiently waiting for the forever family he truly deserves.

In his previous home, Kodak lived in a multi-dog household and did well — he is dog friendly and accustomed to sharing space with other canine companions. He was also raised around children of various ages, from toddlers to 12 years old. Because of his experiences, we feel Kodak would do best in a home with mature children who understand that dogs need their personal space respected at times, allowing him to feel secure and comfortable.

While Kodak did show some signs of anxiety and overstimulation in his former home, since returning to the shelter he has not displayed any of those behaviors. Instead, he has shown how adaptable and resilient he truly is — soaking up affection, enjoying attention, and thriving with structure and consistency.

Kodak is a sweetheart through and through. He bonds deeply with his people, loves companionship, and has that irresistible Bulldog charm that makes him impossible not to love. He’s still young, eager to learn, and ready to build a lifetime of memories with someone who will give him patience, love, and understanding.

✨ Kodak is:

Fully vaccinated

Neutered

Heartworm negative

Dewormed

On flea & tick prevention

Kodak isn’t just incredibly handsome — he’s loyal, loving, and full of potential. He’s ready to leave the shelter behind and finally find the forever home he’s been waiting for.

📍 Available for adoption at Lee County Animal Shelter in Bishopville, SC

💙 Please share to help Kodak find his forever family. This sweet boy has so much love to give — he just needs the right home to give him the chance. 💙

*** Shelter animals are not DNA tested upon intake. Breeds are guessed solely on looks.
