Our Mission
The Lee County Animal Shelter is providing humane/compassionate care to the abandoned/neglected dogs/cats brought to the shelter. We a small, rural animal shelter that is striving to save as many lives as possible through adoption and rescue!
Adoption Policy
A decision to adopt a dog or cat means you have made a decision to care for that pet for its entire life. Please think through this extremely important decision before you apply to adopt. A pet becomes a family member. A responsible pet owner/guardian makes life decisions to include their pets. Our goal is permanent placement.
You must fill out an adoption application and be approved by staff prior to adoption. We encourage face-to-face meet and greets but offer virtual meet and greets for out of state adopters!
