Koda's Story
🐾 Meet Koda – A Senior Dog Looking for His Forever Friend 🐾
At the end of January, a small senior dog was found running along a frozen creek, cold, scared, and severely underweight. Despite everything he had clearly been through, his spirit remained strong.

He was brought to Noah's Ark Animal Foundation on February 2nd for some much-needed TLC. Staff named him Koda, which means “friend.” And that’s exactly what he has proven to be.

Koda is believed to be a Shiba Inu mix and is a senior with limited vision and hearing. When he arrived, he was very emaciated, had severe dental disease, and was not neutered. With plenty of nutritious meals and loving care, he slowly began gaining weight and strength.

On March 9th, after getting healthier, Koda had his dental procedure and was neutered. During the process, veterinarians discovered he also has a Grade IV/V heart murmur. But if you ask Koda, it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s incredibly friendly, full of personality, and still has plenty of energy to share with someone special.

Now Koda is ready to find his forever home — a place where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love.

💛 How You Can Help
Koda’s medical care, dental work, and surgery have been costly.
