๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿšจ KODA IS BACK... AND WE ARE TERRIFIED OF WHAT THIS SHELTER ENVIRONMENT IS DOING TO HIM. ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ’”

Koda was returned to us today.

Again.

And this time, we are watching a dog who is completely overwhelmed, confused, and heartbroken.

Koda is around 5 years old. He originally came from the SPCA in Watertown and, through no fault of his own, has been adopted and returned more times than any dog should ever have to experience.

Every time he starts to believe he has a home...

Every time he starts to trust... Every time he thinks, "Maybe this is finally my person..."

He loses it all over again.

And now, Koda is struggling with severe separation anxiety.

Being back in a kennel is absolutely destroying him.

His anxiety is so intense that we are genuinely afraid he is going to hurt himself trying to escape, trying to get to someone, or simply because he cannot understand why he has been left behind again.
