Koda's Story

Meet Koda!
A black and white Aussie mix, coming in at 31 lbs. located in Westminster, MD. He is neutered, and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Koda is estimated to be about 9 years old but exact age is unknown.

He is a sweet, calm and friendly pup looking for his forever family. He is fully house trained, laid back, loves his people and happily soaks up the attention.

He enjoys walks and does wonderfully on leash. He loves opportunities to run outdoors, and I mean LOVES IT, so a fenced yard is a must. He's also known to be an escape artist when the front door is opened and must be monitored closely.

Traditional dog toys aren't really his thing but hand him an empty 2-liter plastic bottle and he's one happy boy.

He loves to play with other dogs and would be a great brother but he's also content being your one and only. He should not be in a home with cats.

Koda has overcome a difficult past and was found as a stray about 4 years ago. He had a leg injury that was not treated and now walks with a slight limp but that doesn't slow him down and his vet is not concerned with long term issues.

Overall, Koda is a healthy, affectionate senior with so much love left to give. He would thrive with someone who understands his need for a secure environment and is looking for a loyal, gentle companion.

If you are an approved ARMA adopter, please reach out to your volunteer representative.
Wanting to get approved, please fill out an application at https://aussierescueofthemidatlantic.org/applications-2/
