Koda's Story

I just turned 6 years old in August, and I'm a proud Velcro pug looking for my next forever family. If you're searching for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side through everything, I'm your guy. I'm sweet, smart, resilient, and very attached to my people. I've been through a lot recently after losing my beloved human mom, but I've shown everyone what a brave little pug I am and am thriving in my foster home.

I previously lived with three other dogs and am doing great with the young pug in my foster home. I enjoy playing with toys, especially my favorite little tennis ball. I'll chase it, carry it around, and play fetch for as long as you're willing to throw it! I also love car rides, walks nicely on a leash, and have the softest coat you've ever felt.

When playtime is over, I'm all about the snuggles. I don't just enjoy sleeping with my humans—I firmly believe that's where I belong! Being close to my people makes me happiest, so I'd love a home where someone is around most of the time.

Like most pugs, I'm very food motivated and eat a little too enthusiastically, so I use a slow feeder. I'm neutered and currently wear my "fancy pants" because I still have an occasional tendency to mark, but I'm improving with a consistent schedule and could continue learning good house manners with patient guidance. The good news is that I'm smart and eager for snacks, which makes me a great student!

If you're looking for a loving little shadow who will follow you from room to room, keep you company on every adventure, and snuggle up beside you every night, I can't wait to meet you. Koda is being fostered in Boise, ID.
