Koda's Story

Are you looking for a companion who is just as happy hitting the trails as she is snuggling on the couch? Meet Koda, a beautiful 1–2-year-old female who is ready to find her forever team!

At a sturdy and manageable 39 pounds, Koda is the "just right" size for any activity. She is a sweet-natured soul with a heart of gold and fur so incredibly soft you’ll want to pet her all day long.

Whether it’s a brisk morning walk or a weekend hike, Koda is ready to go. She walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you.

If there is a ball involved, Koda is there! In fact at times, she tries to fit two balls into her mouth. She has a higher energy level and thrives when she has a job to do or a game to play.

She likes kids and gets along great with other dogs. Because of her playful, bouncy energy, she might be a bit much for a senior dog who prefers the quiet life, but she’d love a playmate who can keep up with her!

Koda is already potty trained.

Koda is looking for an active family that enjoys being outdoors. If you have a backyard for fetch sessions and a lifestyle that involves plenty of movement and play, Koda will be your most loyal companion.

After a day of fun, she’s the first one ready to settle in for some well-deserved pets. Ready to add a little extra joy (and a lot of soft fur) to your life? Adopt Koda.

Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high kill shelters, and place them in loving homes. We also strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spay/neuter, so that one day there will no longer be adoptable dogs, euthanized by the thousands in our shelters.
