Koba's Story

Hi! My name is Koba. I am a 6 year old Rough Coat Collie mix. I currently weight 85lbs but I am on a diet to lose some weight so I can be my healthiest self!

I am a happy boy! I love every person and animal I meet! Sometimes I get a little pushy with other animals because I just want them to play with me but I can be annoying to them. I don’t mean to be, I just really want to be friends. I grew up with kids, other dogs, cats, and was even around lots of farm animals too. I am not a working dog, I am a spoiled house doggie.

I ride perfectly in a car and I walk well on leash too. The rescue groomed me when I came to them. I had really bad matting so some spots of my hair were shaved off but don’t worry it will grow back! I’m still handsome! I do require regular grooming.

Due to past traumas, I do have an arthritic body so I’m looking for a calmer home where I can still play and be silly but also sleep and rest comfortably. I do take joint supplements as well.

Koba is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If he sounds like a match for you, please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:

Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication

Koba’s adoption fee is $300.

***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue.
