Knuckles's Story

Knuckles is a great dog - he loves his people and wants to be with them all the time. He was adopted from San Antonio Animal Care Services as a puppy and returned. He was adopted again and that family surrendered him after two weeks post breaking out of crates and destroying the curtains and blinds. While with the second family, he was calm, hung with the family, was good around the baby and was house trained.

He has severe separation anxiety and would do best with an owner that works from home that is active and could exercise him. He is about 1.5 years old, he knows sit; he walks well on leash but will pull if he sees something of interest. He connects well with people and has excellent eye contact. His lip gets caught on his teeth often and it gives him a toothy grin. He is initially timid, shy and scared of new people but warms up if you come bearing treats.
