Klein's Story

Meet Klein - the 12-pound king of your couch and your heart

At 5 years old, this Dachshund/Chihuahua mix has life pretty well figured out: sit on lap, receive pets, give kisses, repeat. Klein is the perfect "compact but capable" size - small enough to carry around like a VIP, but sturdy enough to hop onto the couch or bed like he owns the place (which... he will).

Why Klein is basically perfect:
Professional lap warmer
Certified face-cleaner (no napkin needed, he's got you)
Loves EVERY human he meets - seriously, he has no strangers
Gorgeous medium-length black and dark brown coat (very handsome, he knows it)
Equal parts snuggle bug and independent king - when he's done with pets, he simply... clocks out and naps elsewhere
Walks nicely on a leash (a gentleman, obviously)

A few "quirks" (he prefers the term personality traits):
Dog selective - he's more of a "small dog, or lazy large dog...quality friends only" kind of guy
Doesn't believe in sharing food... yours or his So kids that understand this is a must. Toddlers are probably a no.
Might need belly bands while he remembers he's not the one paying the mortgage
Has a slight case of "this is mine" energy when it comes to resources

Klein is recently neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots - basically move-in ready. He's working on house training, but let's be honest... if your house already smells like another dog, he's just trying to contribute to the decor (we're looking at you, Chihuahua ).

At the end of the day, Klein is a happy little guy who just wants a warm lap, some snacks (not to share), and a human who understands that personal space is optional when you're this cute.

Adopt Klein - your lap has been empty for too long.

Being fostered in Taylor, WI

My adoption fee is $400 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org. Our website takes days to update so please apply even if I'm not on there.
You can apply directly at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LPRI/Dog?fbclid=IwAR2NSCms13xrrfdH2mAbM1hPg5dQoC0ruvNJI3TsFtZtsWp9PvNx46zC6SM

501(c)(3) Approved WI Agricultural Licence#285589-DSR
