**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT OUR FLORIDA LOCATION***<br/><br/>Meet 3.5-years-old KitKat <br/><br/>KitKat is a work in progress, and that's perfectly okay.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has experienced a great deal of trauma in her past, and she's still learning that people can be kind, patient, and safe. While she isn't ready to find her forever home just yet, we wanted to share her story and celebrate the progress she's already making.<br/><br/>KitKat is potty trained and has begun learning to walk on a leash and harness. When she's feeling comfortable, she seeks out attention and will come to her foster for reassurance and affection. She's even started approaching for leash attachment on her own some of the timesomething that may seem small, but for KitKat, it's a huge step forward.<br/><br/>Like many dogs recovering from fear and uncertainty, her journey isn't measured in days or weeks. It will likely take several more months of patience, consistency, and love to help her build the confidence she deserves.<br/><br/>For now, we're letting KitKat move at her own pace, celebrating every victory, and showing her that the world isn't such a scary place after all.<br/><br/>We'll continue sharing updates as this brave girl learns to trust and heal. <br/><br/>House breaking and potty training cannot be guaranteed: While a dog may be observed as housebroken, we cannot guarantee that accidents wont occur during the transition to a new home. To ensure a smooth adjustment, we recommend establishing a consistent potty training routine to help create new habits and support their successful integration.<br/><br/>Please remember that all listed breeds are only our best guess based on appearance, traits, and behavior.
