He has learned some commands while in his foster home: come, sit, spin and roll over. He walks well on leash and likes going for walks and car rides. He loves to play. Be prepared, as this Corgi has a ton of energy. Maybe he would be good doing Herding or agility. He is very treat motivated and seems to do just about anything for a treat. But then every Corgi would do anything for a treat or food! He does and can bark as Corgis do. We are not sure about small children under the age of 14. We are not sure about cats or other animals. <br/><br/>Kit will require a fenced, secure yard to play in. This is a way for him to burn off his energy. He can be an only dog and seems to be a bit on the alpha side. He can play with other dogs but we are not sure that all dogs would be a good fit. A meet and greet would need to be done before any adoption. Kit does have some resource guarding. Foster mom is working on this.<br/><br/>Over all a very nice Corgi that would love to have his own FUREVER home.<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed and been approved.<br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don't adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
