She is a tender hearted girl who will thrive in a home that is calm and predictable. Kit has the energy to be a great walking, jogging or hiking companion. She is always ready to go on the next adventure. Kit enjoys being outside and will need a securely fenced backyard where she can enjoy the sunshine. At the end of the day she loves getting cozy on a pile of blankets. Kit enjoys being with her people and welcomes any invitation to join them in the family plans. <br/><br/>Kit does not care for the company of other dogs and will be happiest in a home where she can be someone's one and only. Kit will benefit from some training to build her confidence while on walks with her people. She is a quick learner and will be her absolute best with the right person guiding her. We are asking for a feline free home because we do not know if Kit has any experience with cats. Fast movements and loud noises cause her to be a little nervous, therefore, any children in the home should be over the age of 10 and have an understanding of how to respect animals. Kit is crate trained and has learned proper potty manners in her foster home. Any adopters should be willing to continue with a predictable routine. <br/><br/>Kit recently received a wellness exam with bloodwork. She was spayed and received a dental with one extraction. Kit is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 4 years old and weighs 16 pounds. Her adoption donation is $350.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We dont adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We dont ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
