Kira Siberian Husky Seville, OH

Kira needs a foster home asap!  She is a Siberian Husky, approx 2 yrs old, weighing 57lbs.  Kira has been in temporary foster, in a kennel situation since 12/5/23.  She had to be pulled from the shelter so she wouldn't be euthanized.

From her temp foster...

"Since the night of December 5, Kira has only had one accident inside or on the outside of her kennel.  She is great with the doggy door.  She does not tear up her bedding.  She isn’t fond of dry food.  I use Purina Pro Plan and she will pick out the pieces that she likes and leave the rest.  I give her a can of Pro Plan daily.  She is a very loving girl.  She does like to jump a little, but she’s gentle in doing so.  She would love to be a lap dog.  She is also very much treat driven.  She can sit, give paw.  She does pretty well on leash, but easily distracted with my donkeys and cattle.  When I brought her in the house, she seemed afraid of the cats. 

Info from previous owner. They only had her one week, supposedly saved her from a BYB. She had one litter awhile back. They also said that cowered at a broom. Currently, she lives in  a kennel that’s 8’x5’ inside and outside, so she seems okay in it. 

She plays well with my big German Shorthair Pointers, they are 25-30 lbs bigger than she is."
