KINSALE- Needs a foster/forever home! Shepherd Mix Birmingham, MI

Hi! My name is Kinsale, named after the port town in Ireland. Most people call me Kinsey though. I am an adorable 6 year old shepherd mix who is looking for my forever home. I have lots of energy, but after a good walk or run I love to come inside and chill. I would be in heaven if I could curl up on the couch with you in the evening and sleep snuggled next to you in bed. I am spayed, house broken, and crate trained. My vaccinations are up to date and I am on monthly heart worm preventative. I am super smart, learning new tricks and commands quickly. I need a family with a nice yard and a PRIVACY fence, so I have space to run and play safely. NO TIE OUTS OR INVISIBLE FENCES. I’m fast and agile, and I can climb chain link fences when I see a squirrel or rabbit I might want to chase. I have lived with other dogs in the past, but I need to be carefully introduced to new dog friends to make sure we get along. NO CATS!!! I would do best with children 10 years old and older. I cannot wait to meet my forever family who will love and cherish me for the rest of my life.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Kinsale's adoption fee is $300.
