Meet Kinni! She is a 11 year old, 10 pound, female, Shih Tzu Mix. This little lady is very special… Kinni is the sweet lap dog you have been looking. When she is greeted by her foster mom she does a little dance and get’s excited. She loves to take naps in someones lap or in her dog bed. This senior gal is great on her leash for a neighborhood stroll and is almost completely potty trained; knowing how to do her business outside or on a puppy pad. We don’t know how this loving and friendly girl lived to be 11 years old as a stray, but we are so thrilled to welcome her to the ALR family. Kinni will thrive in a quiet, slow paced home where she can be someones everyday companion and best friend. She is small enough to take everywhere and is looking for a gentle and nurturing home to live out her senior days. Kinni has a history of a fractured lower jaw, which is still tender so she eats only soft food. She has cataracts and is deaf, but the vet has given her a clean bill of health based on her age. She will benefit from join supplements, routine vet checkups and an owner with experience of caring for a senior dog. None of the ailments stops Miss Kinni! She is a happy, loving, and perky gal.
