King (Bonded with Queen)'s Story
Meet King! The phrase big dog in a small dog body was apparently invented specifically for him.

King has somehow packed endless personality into under 10 pounds. He loves stuffies, treats, chasing tennis balls, chasing people, and making sure everyone in the house knows hes having a great time. Hes energetic, playful, deeply affectionate, and fully convinced he is much larger than he actually is.

One of King's favorite games is fetch. There's just one small issue: after having all of his teeth removed, he can no longer pick up the tennis ball to bring it back. So instead, he proudly stands over it and barks until someone helps him continue the game. Honestly, it's impossible not to love him.

King recently had full dental extractions, which means he'll need a soft food diet going forward. He's currently recovering beautifully and doesn't let his toothless smile slow him down for a second.

He would thrive in a calm home where he can get plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles. King can be a little vocal and somewhat anxious when left alone, but his foster describes him as incredibly sweet. He enjoys other dogs, especially his bonded sister Queen.

King is looking for someone who will embrace all of his quirks, toss the tennis ball again and again, and love him exactly as he is: loud, joyful, scruffy, and full of heart.

Fostered in Alexandria, VA
Please apply at MirisHaven.org
