Meet Kindra<br/>Rott/Terrier Mix<br/>8 Weeks Old<br/>Male<br/><br/>Kindra from the partner litter. He is one who likes to explore. He caught on to the house routine really fast. Lets himself out to go potty when the door is open. Sits and waits nicely for his meals. Loves to cuddle. He's a pretty good boy overall. To meet Kindra, fill out an adoption application at K9s4U.org.<br/><br/>Rescue partner spotlight<br/><br/>Dr. Cameron Kindra, is a huge resource and support to our rescue. <br/><br/>Dr. Kindra earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan in 2014 and his Doctorate from the University of Illinois in 2018, followed by a 1 year small animal rotating internship at Purdue University. Dr. Kindra then spent 6 years as an emergency vet before transitioning to primary care. He is currently working here in McHenry. <br/><br/>Dr. Kindra found his passion for working with rescues during his time with the University of Illinois’ shelter medicine program, which opened doors to helping on mission trips to Nicaragua with the WorldVets/AprosVets organizations. Today, he focuses most of his work with local rescues & looks forward to expanding that work to community outreach programs. <br/><br/>We don’t know what we would do without his support ! All adoptions include: Spay or Neuter, Microchip, and Up to Date on Shots (based on age). We are a foster based rescue meaning all animals are in foster homes prior to going into their furever homes. Foster homes are located in the Northern Suburbs of Illinois. If you see an animal you like, the first step is to fill out our adoption application at www.k9s4u.org under Adopt.
