Hi, I'm Kimo!<br/><br/>I arrived at Mississauga Animal Services as a stray in February 2025 and was never claimed. I'm now ready to find my forever home!<br/><br/>I'm a 6-year-old Siberian Husky, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. I've got that classic husky energy and personality; friendly, playful, and always up for something to do.<br/><br/>I love my people and I'm always happy to greet familiar faces with enthusiasm (sometimes a little too much enthusiasm; I'm still working on my manners and I may jump up for hugs). When I'm not saying hello or asking for attention, I like to keep myself busy with toys and chews. Tennis balls are my absolute favourite... and Ill be honest, I sometimes get a bit possessive about them. I've been working on this with training, and I do best when I'm guided through calm trade-offs.<br/><br/>I can be a little reserved when meeting new people at first, but once I'm comfortable, my personality really shines through. I'm affectionate, playful, and very people-focused.<br/><br/>With other dogs, I'm still figuring things out. I haven't done well with male dogs, and I seem more comfortable around females, though I can be a bit pushy and may try to hump when I get excited. Because of this, Id likely do best as the only pet in the home while I continue working on my training and social skills.<br/><br/>I'd also do best in a home with no children under 17, as I need an environment that can support my boundaries and ongoing learning.<br/><br/>What I really need is someone patient and consistent; someone who understands that I'm still a work in progress, but one who is trying hard and making steady improvements.
