Meet Kimbo
For those of you who love the Shepherds, but feel they are too big to handle, meet Kimbo. He is a 4 month Shepherd/Corgi mix. He is 15 lbs now, and may get to 25 to 30 lbs full grown. Such a cutie, and a lover....
Look at those short Corgi legs. He is crate trained, & we are working on potty training & we are almost there. Kimbo loves everyone he meets. With continued training, guidance & direction, Kimbo will make the best family addition.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
