Kilo (Benefactor Dog)'s Story

Kilo is a 2-year-old, 70-pound Doberman apparently assembled from elegance, unmitigated sweetness, and an impressive amount of love to give.

He adores people, is wonderful with other dogs, and believes affection is a renewable resource that should never be rationed. He's loving, social, devoted, and handsome to an almost administratively inconvenient degree.

Kilo has endured some unfortunate logistical nonsense recently. Through absolutely no fault of his own, he lost one home, briefly thought he'd found another, then lost that too. Quite enough plot development. We're retiring that storyline.

Because Kilo now is far more interesting: sweet, affectionate, optimistic, and entirely ready to belong somewhere permanently. Despite everything changing around him, he remains the kind of dog who loves his people wholeheartedly and seems genuinely happy just to be included.

He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and does well with other dogs.

Kilo is also heartworm positive and has already started treatment, which is being fully covered by Take Paws Rescue.

He isn't looking for another temporary stop.
