We have applications on our website at www.pawneehumane.com We require that a vet check be completed and the application be approved before taking home your new adopted pet. Emailing the application so you can be pre-approved before driving to the shelter is a great way to ensure that you can take your new best friend home that day! Please visit our website for fees. Our shelter is located at the corner of Hwy 264 & 8th St (M5 Rd) west of Larned, KS We are just north of the Larned Mental Health and Correctional Facility.

The Pawnee County Humane Society was established as a steering committee under the City of Larned in April of 2005, after several meetings of concerned citizens.
