Kiko and Kiara Bonded Pair's Story
Kiko & Kiara are Ready for their Forever Home!

Manchester, CT 9 & 10 years old

Kiko is a sweet, affectionate 10-year-old boy who loves being close to his people. He's happiest when he's by your side, following you around the house or relaxing nearby. When it's time to play, his favorite red bone and a game of fetch bring out his fun, goofy personality. He's also perfectly content curling up for a nap after some exercise.
Kiko is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands that he needs help building confidence. He can be reactive toward unfamiliar people and dogs on walks, but with slow introductions, positive reinforcement, and consistent training, he has shown that he can learn to trust new people quickly. He would do best in a quieter home with children over 10 years old and would likely thrive with his sister Kiara being the only other dog in the house.

Kiara is a low-energy girl who enjoys a couple of daily walks but is happiest lounging nearby and napping. She's completely house-trained, sleeps through the night, rarely barks, and settles nicely when left alone or crated (especially with a treat). She has a calm, friendly personality and has done well meeting new people. She previously lived with children and other dogs and is expected to do well with respectful introductions. She does have a strong prey drive toward squirrels and rabbits, so she'll need to remain on leash outdoors.
The ideal fit is a family or individual looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys relaxing together, can provide daily walks, and is willing to continue her positive-reinforcement training. Kiara's sweet temperament, quiet nature, and loving personality make her a wonderful companion ready for her forever home.

If you're interested in these two sweethearts, consider applying below!
Requirements:
- Children over 10 years old OK
- Must be open to bonded pair
- No other dogs in home
- No cats
