Kiki's Story

Kiki is one of our newest rescues that came as a stray but we’re sure her humans just never came back for her. She’s approx 1 year old and around 45lbs and embodies the true personality of an Australian Shepherd (smart, eager to please, and very affectionate). Aussies aren’t for the faint of heart and are an “acquired taste” of a dog breed. Basically if you’re okay with her constantly licking your face, asking for attention and affection, and endless laughs and adventures, Kiki is your girl. She’s not the type of dog you leave in the yard or leave behind when you head to work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day… she won’t approve it. She needs to see you and be near you and hope you let her ride shot gun in the car ride over.

She’s the main character of the show and she’ll happily greet every dog and person as if they’ve met before. Apply to meet Kiki at http://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
