Looking for a spirited puppy with a heart of gold? Kesha is a very affectionate dog who loves to play and chew! She has finally lost her final baby teeth, but still loves to entertain with a chew toy or stuffed Kong. She is learning basic commands and how to walk on leash with a Gentle Leader. She has a tendency to pull because her energy is higher than the average dog owner. Kesha loves to be brushed and groomed, and is tolerant of restrictions. <br/><br/>Because of a broken leg when she was brought to rescue, Kesha has undergone surgical repair of her left foreleg and is thriving in foster rehab. She continues on light duty, and cannot be off leash yet; we expect this to continue for awhile. As a result she is crate-trained and house broken! <br/><br/>Kesha should be a medium-sized doodle mix (Aussie/lab/wolfhound?) that will look for an active family to keep her happy. A fenced yard will keep her owners happy as well. She will need slow progress in extending her walking stamina while she continues to heal her leg bones, and a full recovery is anticipated by the vet. When she does, be ready for a playful, loving family member in this beautiful girl! <br/><br/>FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. <br/><br/>Kesha's adoption fee is $350.
