Meet Kermit! <br/><br/>Kermit is a ~40-pound, playful, affectionate little guy who is looking for his forever family! <br/><br/>Kermit is house trained, crate trained, heartworm negative, and good with other dogs. He knows "sit," is very treat motivated, and would love to keep learning with his new family. He has a medium energy level-he enjoys playing and getting his zoomies out, but he's also more than happy to settle down for some quality cuddle time.<br/><br/>And when I say Kermit loves affection... he LOVES affection. He's a cuddly little bug who wants to be wherever his people are. He's definitely a bit clingy in the cutest way and would happily accept all the pets, cuddles, and attention you're willing to give him. He also loves his crate and considers it his own cozy little bedroom, happily sleeping there at night.<br/><br/>Kermit does have a few adorable-but-important quirks that his future family should know about. He can be very strong on the leash for the first 10 minutes or so of a walk, but he settles down once he gets some of that initial excitement out. He's also an enthusiastic eater, so a slow-feeder bowl would be a great idea for him. And if food or an open trash can is left within reach, Kermit may decide he has discovered an all-you-can-eat buffet. His future family will need to keep tempting snacks and trash safely out of reach.<br/><br/>But underneath all of his goofy little quirks is a sweet, affectionate, playful boy who just wants to be loved.
