Kelsos Clonad - pending

This hound has a pending adoption. Kelsos Clonad is an almost 2 year old black female greyhound who raced at 61 pounds. She arrived 7.10.26. More information to follow.<br/>Chloe is a very nice girl. She is good with people, dogs, and cats in her foster home.<br/>From her foster family: I have only had Chloe since last Friday but she has been perfect guest so far. She has interacted with both of our cats, she sniffs, then gives them their space, they even seem to be warming up to her. She also gets along great with out current greyhound, Willie. They share space, toys, and walks without any problems at all. One night she slept in her crate, the other in just a bed in the bedroom with me; both nights she slept all the way through without making a peep.<br/><br/>The things she seems to love most so far are: plushie toys, laying next to you on the couch with her head in your lap, belly rubs, and sleeping with her tongue out and belly up.<br/><br/>She is also a very calm eater and very quiet, no barking or whining aside from at the occasional deer she sees through the window.<br/><br/>She has been able to go up and down our carpeted steps without any issues. She's had to spend time her crate while I've done housework - and had no accidents in her crate.<br/><br/>Also, after picking her up she was a perfect angel on the car ride. Never made a sound or had any issues with the drive.<br/><br/>She does still have a lot of puppy energy - luckily we have a fully fenced yard and she can sprint and spin to her hearts content. We have had a couple of accidents in the house, but I think that is just her learning, we're going out often and getting lots of praise when doing business outside.. She is also very food motivated, tried to steal a few things from kitchen counters - but we're working on that too and she stops immediately when corrected.<br/><br/>All and all she is incredibly adorable and a wonderful companion so far!
