Keeley's Story

Our amazing Golden Girl, Keeley is now ready for adoption! She is about 2 1/2 years old, 60 lbs and one of the most precious girls you’ll ever meet. Keeley started off as a medical needs pup but has put that all behind her. She had a lipoma removed and 2 mast cell tumors were discovered inside. She had a second surgery done to make sure the vet got good borders since the mast cell tumors were a surprise. She was given the all clear and now it’s time for a forever home. Keeley was also spayed, dewormed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has had a dental cleaning and hip X-rays to rule out any signs of dysplasia. She does have some pressure scars on her hind end from being kenneled on a hard surface before coming into rescue but those are already improving.

Keeley is housebroken and walks well on a leash. She rides great in a car and eager to “go” as soon as she sees a leash. She knows to sit on command, plays fetch and occasionally gets the zoomies. She’s an affectionate cuddle bug and perfect playful companion. Keeley is dog and kid friendly but would do best in a home without cats.

Keeley is currently fostered in TX and available for adoption in the Northeast. She will be heading to NJ very soon.
