Meet Kegan! This guy is a 4-year-old Pittie mix that came to us from Alabama. He tested positive for heartworm and has received treatment and is healthy and doing well! He is such a handsome, sweet boy. He is full of love for people and pups alike! He’s also good with kids. Keegan is potty trained and crate trained and is working on his basics. He knows how to sit, but is still working on minding his manners. He gets super excited and loves to give kisses and will jump up to do so. Luckily given his short stature, it’s harmless but we’re working hard on teaching him not to jump up and he’s making progress! This boy has overcome some pretty bleak odds being a stray pittie that’s heartworm positive in a rural shelter, and he’s still the happiest pup! If you’re looking for a playful pocket pittie, Keegan may be your guy!
