Meet Kaylor! Kaylor is one of the biggest sweeties we've ever seen (and since she weighs in at 70lbs, we mean "biggest" quite literally). Kaylor came to us half-starved with a gaggle of puppies. It's incredible to see how far she's come. She has filled out and become a beautiful, loving dog. Her now-healthy coat is a gorgeous red-gold that has to be seen to be believed, and her puppydog eyes could melt anyone's heart.<br/><br/>Kaylor is a big goofball. She is super sweet and affectionate, and loves to flop on the ground and make funny faces. Doesn't matter where she is or what she's doing - as soon as anyone touches her, she just melts onto the floor. Kaylor is always ready for affection, whether it's ear-scratches or tummy rubs. She loves going out for walks and will scarf down any treats in an instant. She loves to play, and will tear around her boarding facility with her favorite toys. She did not have any accidents in her foster home, and appears to be crate-trained. She does great with children, and loves covering them with kisses.<br/><br/>Because Kaylor was starving when she came to us, she is unfortunately food aggressive with other dogs. She will also "guard" her humans when they are eating and drinking to make sure no one bothers them, and can be jealous of other dogs getting attention. Because of this, we would recommend her for a home with no other dogs. We would also not recommend her for a home with cats. Kaylor can be quite vocal, so she would not be ideal for an apartment. <br/><br/>We initially believed Kaylor to be a Bull Mastiff mix, but a DNA test revealed she's actually 50% St. Bernard, with some Rottweiler and American Bulldog mixed in. We estimate she is around 5 years old as of June 2025. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
