Meet Kayla
Kayla came to us from a commercial breeding facility where she had little socialization or positive interactions with people, but she has quickly put that life behind her and is only looking ahead to much better days. She was quite shy, understandably, when she first arrived, but she has blossomed and allows the volunteers to walk her now and really is enjoying her walks around the property, she also appears to like other dogs and she seems to have the beginning stages of housetrained down! Good girl Kayla.
She would do best in a quieter home (with older kids or adults) perhaps with a confident, gentle resident dog to help show her the ropes. She is a great medium size, easy to manage, and so deserves a second chance at life!
Please stop by 12-5pm daily for walk-in visits (no appointment necessary). You can apply online ahead of time at www.mlar.org/adopt-application or complete a paper application when you arrive
