Kaya is a sweet girl who is desperate for love; at least she knows what love is probably for the first time in her life. Kaya is a Keeshond/Australian Shepherd mix, and 9+ years young. She is spayed, up to date on shots, crate trained, and housebroken. She knows the following commands: Sit, Leave it, In your crate, Come & Lay Down. Please know that this is all very remarkable for Kaya; you see, we don’t believe she ever lived in a house until she came into foster care in July 2017. Kaya wants love and to be loved which is so Keeshond! She is also willing to learn anything you want to teach with patience, love and time. She loves the comfort of the couch to sleep on, she loves belly rubs and back scratches. The newest thing she’s started doing is giving her paw when she wants attention.<br/><br/>If you have a dog that is relaxed, it might work as long as it is not dominant or pushy. She does not bark much, though she is a good alert dog or watch dog that only barks to let you know & then stops.
