KATO's Story
Kato is a handsome 56-pound boy who was previously adopted from the shelter in 2024 and returned through no fault of his own. He’s an active yet quiet companion with a wonderful mix of independence, playfulness, and affection.

Kato is friendly and loving, has experience other dogs but would do best in a home without children. He is both house-trained and crate-trained. Plush toys are his favorite, and he enjoys playtime just as much as relaxing with his people. He’ll need a little help learning to walk politely on a leash and will require a secure yard, as he can jump some fences. Kato does not have experience living with cats.

This sweet, well-mannered boy is ready for a fresh start with a family who can give him the stability and love he deserves.
