She can feel a little anxious in new spaces, but with time, patience, and understanding, her sweet personality really starts to come through.<br/><br/>Katie enjoys the company of both people and other dogs, and she especially benefits from having a confident buddy by her side—whether that’s another dog or a trusted human to help her feel secure. She walks well on a leash and does even better when she has a companion to walk alongside.<br/><br/>She’s a medium-energy girl who appreciates a nice balance of activity and downtime. Katie also keeps her crate perfectly clean, showing just how well-mannered she can be.<br/><br/>Because she needs time to feel comfortable, Katie would do best in a home with older kids who can respect her space and go at her pace.
