Karma may not be the dog who runs up to greet you with kisses and a wagging tail—but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a whole lot of love waiting to come out. <br/><br/>Karma is a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who came to us through a court case after unfortunately not receiving the care he deserved. He lived with several other dogs, and we’ve learned that he feels much more comfortable and confident when he has canine friends around. When he is alone, Karma tends to shut down and become very scared.<br/><br/>Karma is going to need a patient, easygoing, and understanding home willing to take things at his pace. He needs someone who will show him that the world isn’t such a scary place and teach him that it’s okay to be afraid—but that he doesn’t have to stay afraid forever. <br/><br/>He may not greet you with kisses on day one. He may not immediately show you his personality. But imagine getting to watch this sweet boy slowly come out of his shell, learn to trust, and discover what it feels like to finally be loved and safe. That transformation could be incredibly special.<br/><br/>Karma isn’t looking for someone who expects perfection.
