Karl's Story

Meet Karl!

Looking for a best friend who never meets a stranger? Karl might be the perfect match!

Karl is a 10-month-old, 60-pound Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy paws. He came to Fur Fun Rescue after his owner moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. While that was a difficult change, Karl hasn't let it dampen his happy spirit.

Karl is the kind of dog who believes everyone is a friend he just hasn't met yet. He greets new people with a wagging tail and loves children. He's also fantastic with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to romp around with, although it's not required.

At just 10 months old, Karl is still very much a puppy. He has plenty of energy and loves to run, play, and explore. Because of this, a physically fenced yard is required so he has a safe place to stretch his legs and burn off his puppy enthusiasm.

When playtime is over, Karl is more than happy to soak up attention from his people. He's affectionate, social, and eager to be included in whatever his family is doing.

Karl is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him for years to come. If you're looking for a fun-loving, friendly companion who will greet every day with enthusiasm and a wagging tail, Karl is waiting to meet you!

Karl is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.

Apply to meet Karl at www.furfunrescue.org

If you have questions, you can email rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657.

Adopters must be within a two-hour drive of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Karl is looking for an indoor home.
Adoption fee $400.

Fur Fun Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our dogs are all in foster homes. We require a completed application prior to meeting one of our dogs. The adoption application is on our website: furfunrescue.org. Once the application is received, we check the veterinarian reference if you have or have had pets. Then we contact you to set up a time to meet the dog. If, after meeting the dog you want to proceed with an adoption, we will run a background check, call personal references, and do a home visit. We always introduce our dog to any current pets. The final step is completing the adoption contract.
