She has also been around both large and small dogs and got along fine with them, though she has not actually lived with other dogs. Rabbits, birds, and other small animals are very exciting to her, so she will need a home without small pets and would likely do best without cats as well.<br/><br/>Kari is also quite the escape artist! If given the opportunity, she will dash out an open door and can be difficult to convince to come back. She's a smart girl who quickly learns the tricks people use to catch her, so a securely fenced yard and careful attention around doors are important. She is used to having baby gates in the home to help manage her movements.<br/><br/>While Kari isn't destructive and hasn't needed her crate regularly in quite some time, she did chew up a bed once and then never repeated the offense. These days, she'd much rather spend her time being loved and enjoying life.
