Meet Karen!<br/><br/>Karen is a basset/jack Russell mix that was left for dead in a rural dump site with her siblings, no food, no water, no shelter. She has been with us a few weeks now and is finally recovered from her neglect and malnutrition to where her hair is growing back in and her beautiful personality is beginning to show. <br/><br/>Karen is around 4-5 months old and the most timid of her siblings. She is dog friendly, but needs to be with a companion that is kind and gentle like she is, and not overbearing. With such a gentle nature, we suspect she would do just fine with cats. Karen is extremely snuggly and LOVES hugs and to be carried. She has quickly become a favorite among one of our staff members. <br/><br/>Karen is up to date on vaccinations and her contract will require spay at 6 months of age.
