Kangaroo's Story
Meet Kangaroo (Roo), an adult (approx. 4 years old) spayed female Jack Russell mix, weighing about 25 lbs! Kangaroo is currently settling into a New England foster home and is available for meet and greets! Roo is a very sweet cutie that is house and crate trained. She is good with other dogs and loves to be with her people! She loves to cuddle! We are accepting applications for her now! Kangaroo can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption.

She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats but expect her to be fine with them after a proper introduction.
She is medically up to date. She was pregnant when she was brought into the rescue with our animal litter. Her puppies have been recently weaned and adopted. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
