Meet Kane!

This poor boy is now a tripod due to his first owner transporting him in the bed of their truck -he fell out while they were driving. They did not have his foot treated, and he was rescued by his current foster before they decided to euthanize him. We have since had him fully treated at our vet, but they were not able to save the leg since the injury occurred in January of 2023. His leg was amputated back in July and he has fully recovered! His foster reports that you would not be able to tell that anything slows him down.

Kane is a very sweet and friendly boy. Despite losing a front leg, he can manage stairs just fine! He is great on a leash and can live in an apartment, but he is pretty active and playful. Kane is about 2 years old now and weighs about 65-70 lbs. He would do well with older kids about 6+ that he can’t accidentally knock over. He does well with other active dogs that don't mind the puppy energy he still has. Kane's foster mom said he is a very needy boy and craves attention like having a human child lol.

Kane is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative!
