Hi, I'm Kallie. I'm an 8 month old Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy who weighs about 7 lbs but I've already learned a lot about life. I'm a bit shy at first, you see. I take my time to get to know new people, but once I do, oh boy, do I love to cuddle! I'm sweet and cuddly, that's me and I’m just as cute as I can be! I love playing with other dogs in the home but I can be a bit possessive of my human if I am there first! I just need someone patient who will give me time to open up. Once I do, I promise you, I'm the best cuddle bug you'll ever meet. I am crate trained and progressing well on my potty training, have almost completed my puppy vaccinations, heartworm negative and now spayed. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be by your side. What do you say…can I be your forever friend?

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
