Kaiser's Story
Kaiser is an 8 month old German Shepherd mix, possibly with Australian Shepherd or a similar herding breed. He currently weighs about 35 to 40 pounds and will likely continue to fill out as he matures. Kaiser came to Scout’s Street Smart Rescue along with another dog who was pregnant at the time, after their previous owners were no longer able to afford their care. Despite the changes in his young life, he has remained a happy, sweet, wiggly boy who truly enjoys being around people.

Kaiser is very friendly and affectionate. He has typical energy for a herding breed mix and will do best in an active home that understands the needs of working and herding breeds. He is smart, eager to learn, and would thrive with continued training, structure, and consistency. He is still a puppy, but more of a teenage puppy at this stage. He is house trained, crate trained, and doing well working on his leash manners.

Because of his herding instincts and playful enthusiasm, Kaiser would do best in a home with children 10 years and older. He can be too energetic for small children. He also has a tendency to chase, so a home without cats is required.

Kaiser is looking for a committed family who will provide him with exercise, mental stimulation, and guidance as he grows into adulthood. In return, he will offer loyalty, affection, and a joyful personality that will brighten your home.

If you believe Kaiser could be the right fit for your family, please apply today.

Adoption Application (copy and paste link to browser): https://airtable.com/appklteyg5w2e0fmu/shrY8RxQc1KxQYCuv

Scout Street Smart Rescue adopts to residents of PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY, VA, NC, WV, OH, TX, NM, OK, NC, MA, RI, VT, NH, CT, and ME, with occasional exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.

Kennel License #19083
Glenolden, PA 19036
