Meet Kaia…. Or as we like to call her,
MamaKai!

This sweet petite little girl weighs in at just 35 lbs. She came to us very pregnant from a high kill shelter in the rural south, and gave birth to 8 healthy puppies just hours after arriving in her foster home here in NY.  All of her sweet babies have found their forever homes, and now it’s time for Mama to find hers!

Kaia gets along with submissive dogs. She has a lot of energy and would do best in an active home with children over 7 years old. She is crate trained, and learning her house skills. Kaia is extremely affectionate, and quickly bonds to her person. During the day, she loves long walks and lots of playtime in the yard and with the many toys that she has claimed. And she loves to wind down in the evening in her favorite person’s lap watching tv and napping. Kaia was a wonderful mom to her babies,  but now she’s ready to be pampered and spoiled, not having to worry about taking care of puppies anymore.
