Age: 5.5 Years old
We would like to (re)introduce Kaia, a 5.5 year old golden retriever mix. She was adopted in 2015 from us, weighs about 60 lbs and her family has decided they no longer can provide a home for her.
They now have children, and Kaia has been confusing the childrens toys with those of her own. Like 50% of dogs, she shows some possession when you try to get them back, but overall they tell us she is a sweet girl, house trained, crate trained, trained with an electric fence and gets along with other dogs if introduced slowly, but should be fed separately as she can be a little bossy sometimes. She loves to be a homebody and does have some car anxiety. Her ideal home will have dog experience, be willing to provide basic obedience training, doesn’t plan to travel with her frequently, and would make sure to love her unconditionally. A fenced yard is preferred, but not necessary for the right home. She is located in New England, and we can arrange meet and greets for approved adopters.
